Instructions for abstract preparation


Abstracts must be typed in English, within the space allotted and not exceeding 250 words. Please use attached formular.
Organize the body of the abstract as follows: purpose, methods, results and conclusions.
Use of standard abbreviations is desirable. Place special or unusual abbreviations in parentheses after the full word the first time they appear. Use numerals to indicate numbers, except to begin sentences.
Single tables or graphs – neat and in black ink – may be included if they fit within the form rectangle.
Use Microsoft Word 97, 2002, XP (.doc files) or RTF (for E-Mail).
All typing must fit within the lines.
Do not fold the abstract form. Electronic submission to the Conference Head Office is strongly recommend.
Notification of abstract acceptance will be mailed June 30th, 2003.

Official Publication


All speakers, including poster presenters are requested to submit their manuscript at the time conference check in. The official journal of the ISRBP is Artificial Organs, which is published monthly through the International Society for Artificial Organs. This time the journal “Cardiovascular Engineering” will be also one of meeting’s journals. All authors must follow instructions for authors submitting papers to Artificial Organs respectively CVE.
